There doesn&#8217;t appear to be any verification though, unless I have missed something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(<strong>EDIT:<\/strong> you do need to link your account with a Mastercard although I don&#8217;t know if they verify the card type too. If you have an Amex card, try the passcode <em>Centurion <\/em>instead.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t drive myself so can&#8217;t really comment on how useful the status would be. But from what I understand Preferred is a free scheme which anyone can sign up to.
