Badazhou Gold after one stay promotion

China’s travel platform Badazhou has brought back its “Gold after one stay” promotion, as well as some other deals in the summer sale.

As a reminder – Badazhou is a travel agency / advisor but it works differently to traditional portals like Expedia or Booking.com. You are still booking “directly” so you’ll earn all the usual night credits, points and elite benefits, on top of the points in Badazhou’s own schema.

They’ve integrated with many preferred partner programs such as Hilton Impresario, Marriott Stars, Hyatt Prive and Virtuoso, to give you additional perks such as room upgrade, free breakfast and $100 credit.

You can scan the following QR code using Wechat to claim a Silver membership which allows you to book straightaway.

All processes including cancellation are fully automated so it should be easy to navigate with Wechat’s translation feature.

• Book by June 8
• Stay by August 31
• Earn Badazhou Gold after one stay
• The status is valid through December 2025

You usually have to pay 3888 CNY for the Gold status and this is an easy promotion to get it for free. You wouldn’t however receive the discount vouchers like paying members, but you will earn more points from your stays.

There are also other offers like a prize draw, 6x points at certain hotel brands, and conversion bonus to Cathay Pacific. A relatively new addition is discounted fix-priced hotel vouchers, for example:

• Stay by June 30
• 688 CNY (~£70)

The price is good but the stay window is too short. There was an excellent voucher for Mandarin Oriental Paris and it sold out very quickly.
