Tesco had an ink cartridge recycling scheme which has been paused for a while, and it’s good to see it coming back finally.
You can view the programme’s website here. Click View Eligible Cartridges and you’ll see how many Clubcard points your cartridge earns:
You’ll need to ask for the recycling envelops in a Tesco store, put your cartridges inside and complete some details on the tear-off strip, then return the envelope in store.
Unfortunately there won’t be any confirmation of receipt, and if the points fail to post due to the cartridges being ineligible, lost or whatever, you won’t be able to make a claim. You can earn on up to 100 recycled cartridges per year.
How do I get a form/envelope to send cartridges back for recycling?
You’ll need to request the envelopes in store.
Not in the Northallerton Store
Local Tesco store has no re-cyclable envelopes for used ink carts
Wouldnt bother as they have lost 59 cartirdge i tried t recycle and they say there is nothng they can do, a total con.
That’s really a shame…
Four of my cartrdges were not credited to my Clubcard account. They were eligible cartridges I put two in one envelope and the other two in another envelope way back in March this year . My large Tesco store has two post boxes for ink cartridge recycling and I posted one envelope in one box and the other other in the second box. I have contacted the Recycling Factory who said they havn”t received them even though firm they use to collect the cartridges have done several collections from my Teso store since I posted the cartridges.
Are points put on per individual cartridge or per envelope however many in the envelope?
Thank you
You get points per eligible individual cartridge and not per envelope.
None of the staff, even at the customer service desk at my local Tesco super store new anything about the scheme or what to do with the recycling envelopes.
can ut be any make of cartridge
